Underground Equipment Operator

Operates excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and other heavy equipment in support of underground utility construction projects. Responsible for safely and efficiently installing storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and related infrastructure.

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with underground utility installation
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Follow grade and utility installation requirements
• Work closely with foremen and utility crews
• Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship
• Assist with trench safety and site housekeeping

• Experience operating excavators and underground construction equipment required
• Knowledge of utility construction practices
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow plans and grade stakes
• Valid driver's license
